Privacy policy
Your orders, your customers and what you earn are yours. This page says exactly what we hold, where it sits, who else ever sees it, and how to take it back.

Who we are
Kipsy is run by Nitish Goyal. For anything on this page — a copy of your data, a correction, a deletion, or a question — write to support@tradingbaniya.com or message +91 79739 09683. A person reads both.
What we hold
Only two kinds of thing: what you tell us to open an account, and what you put into the app.
Your account
- Your name and email address.
- Your business name, what kind of business it is, and a phone number if you add one for your bills.
- Your password, kept only as a scrambled version that cannot be turned back into your password — not even by us. If you sign in with Google we never see a password at all.
What you put in
- Your orders: what you sold, for how much, when, and how long it took.
- Your customers' names and phone numbers, if you enter them — so bills and reminders have somewhere to go.
- Your materials and ingredients, what you paid for them, and what you have left.
- Your own spends and monthly costs.
- Photos of notes or orders, if you upload them.
A note about your customers: that information is theirs, and you are the one who decided to write it down. Please only enter what you need, and tell them if they ask. We never contact your customers — ever, for any reason.
What we do not hold
- No payment details. Kipsy does not take payments, so there is no card number, no UPI ID and no bank account anywhere in it.
- No tracking of your business. No advertising cookies, no Facebook pixel, nobody being followed around the internet because they opened Kipsy. What you do inside your own account is not measured, counted or watched by anybody. Two things are counted, and neither is your account: the shared demos, and how many people read the pages of this public website. Both are explained below.
What you say and what you type
We keep both. When you speak an order or a question, the audio is saved. When you type or paste one instead, the words you sent are saved the same way — with the rest of your business data, in the same storage in Mumbai, and only people running Kipsy can reach it.
We keep them because when an order comes out wrong, what you actually said or typed is the only way to tell a misheard word from a miscalculated total — and the only way to know a fix worked.
Ask us and they are deleted, all of them, without needing a reason — write to support@tradingbaniya.com. Closing your account deletes them too, along with your photos, in the same moment as everything else.
Support can act on your account. If you ask us to fix a price on your rate card, correct an order or sort out a payment, somebody running Kipsy will open your account and do it. Every such change is written down — who did it, to which account, and what changed.
Where it lives
On a server we rent from Amazon in Mumbai, India. Your data does not leave the country to sit anywhere else. Photos you upload are kept in Amazon's storage in the same place.
Everything is copied every night, so a broken disk cannot take your year of orders with it. One copy stays on the server for a week; another is kept separately for thirty days, in case the whole server is lost.
Who else ever sees it
A few companies touch your data, each for one job, and none of them for their own purposes.
- The service that reads your notes — when you speak an order, paste a message or photograph a note, that recording, message or photo is sent to a specialist reading service to be turned into text. It goes for that one purpose, we do not keep it afterwards, and under the paid terms we use it is not used to train anything. If you would rather nothing left your phone, fill the order form in by hand — it is never sent anywhere to be read.
- Google, if you choose “Continue with Google” to sign in — they tell us your name, email address and profile picture, and nothing else. We never see your Google password, and Kipsy cannot read your Gmail, your contacts or anything else in your Google account.
- Amazon — they rent us the computer and the disk. They do not look at what is on it.
That is the whole list. We do not sell your data, we do not rent it, we do not share it with other businesses, and we do not use it to advertise anything to you. The only other time anyone would see your data is if an Indian court ordered it, and we would tell you unless we were forbidden to.
Between accounts, nothing is shared at all. Another Kipsy business cannot see your orders, your customers, your prices or your costs, and you cannot see theirs.
Cookies
The app sets a small number of cookies that keep you signed in and stop somebody forging a form in your name. That is all they do. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no consent banner to click away — there is nothing to consent to.
Email we send you
Only what the app needs: a code to prove your email address is yours, and a link if you ask to reset your password. We do not send marketing email, and we will not add you to a list.
How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account. Old orders are the whole point — being able to see last Diwali against this one is why the app is worth using — so nothing is quietly deleted with age.
When you delete your account, your orders, customers, materials, photos, voice notes and everything you typed for Kipsy to read are deleted with it, immediately and for good. The nightly backups are the one exception: a copy may sit in them for up to thirty days before it ages out on its own. Nobody opens those backups except to restore a lost server.
What you can ask for
- A copy of everything we hold about you, in a file you can open.
- A correction, though most things you can edit yourself in the app.
- Deletion of your account and everything in it.
You can delete the account yourself, from More → My details inside the app — it happens immediately, with no email and no waiting. Here is exactly how, and what happens.
For anything else, write to support@tradingbaniya.com from the address on your account and we will do it within thirty days — usually the same week. We will not ask you why, and we will not try to talk you out of it.
Demo accounts
The demos on the login screen are shared by everyone who wants a look, and everything in them is wiped and rebuilt every twenty-four hours. They exist to be poked at. Please do not put anything real in them — not a real customer's name, not a real phone number — because anyone else trying Kipsy that day can see it.
We do count what happens inside a demo. When you open one we note which screens you look at, roughly how long you stay, and whether you tried the microphone or made a bill — so we can tell whether the demo is any use, or whether people open it and leave. It is kept for ninety days and then deleted.
There is no name and no email in any of that: just a random number in a cookie, so that six screens can be counted as one person rather than six. It is ours alone — no analytics company, nothing shared, and nothing that follows you anywhere else. None of this happens in a real account. Once you have your own Kipsy, what you do in it is yours and is never measured this way.
This website
We count how many people read the pages of kipsy.in, which pages they read, and roughly where they arrived from — so we can tell which explanations are working. It sets no cookie, it stores nothing that could identify you, and there is nothing to consent to. The counting is done by a service outside India that never sees your account, your orders or your customers, because it is not present inside the app at all.
Once you sign in to Kipsy, none of this follows you. Your own account is not counted.
Children
Kipsy is for people running a business, and is not meant for anyone under 18.
If something goes wrong
If your data were ever exposed by a break-in or a mistake of ours, we will tell you what happened, what was affected and what we did about it — by email, to the address on your account, as soon as we understand it. We would rather tell you an embarrassing thing early than a tidy thing late.
When this page changes
If what we do with your data changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. If the change is a significant one, we will email you rather than hope you notice.
