Terms of use
The deal between you and us, written to be read. What we promise, what we ask of you, what Kipsy is not, and how either of us can walk away.

Who this is with
Kipsy — the site at kipsy.in and the app at app.kipsy.in — is run by Nitish Goyal, reachable at support@tradingbaniya.com and +91 79739 09683. Using Kipsy means you accept what is on this page.
Your account
- One account is for one business. Give us a real name and a real email address — the email is how you get back in if you forget your password.
- Keep your password to yourself. Anything done while signed in as you counts as done by you.
- You must be 18 or older.
- Tell us quickly if you think somebody else has got into your account.
What it costs
Kipsy is free while it is young. If that ever changes you will be told well beforehand, by email, and you will never be charged for something you did not agree to. If you decide it is not worth paying for, you can take your data and go — see below.
Your data is yours
Your orders, your customers, your prices and your costs belong to you. We claim no ownership of any of it. You give us permission to store and process it for one purpose only: running Kipsy for you. Not to advertise, not to sell on, not to train anything. What happens to it is spelled out in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
You are responsible for what you enter about other people. If you write down a customer's name and number, that is your decision and you should be able to justify it to them.
What Kipsy is not
This matters more than the rest of this page, so it is in plain words:
- It is not your accountant. The numbers are a mirror of what you entered, meant to help you decide what to charge and what to stop making. They are not tax advice, not a GST filing, and not a legal record of your books.
- It is not a bank. No money moves through Kipsy. Recording that an advance came in is a note to yourself, not a receipt from a payment company.
- The reading is not perfect. When you speak or paste an order, a machine works out what you meant, and sometimes it gets it wrong. That is why it always shows you a draft first. Check it before you save it. A number you did not check is a number you did not enter, and the bill that comes out carries whatever is inside.
What we ask you not to do
- Break the law with it, or use it to help somebody else break the law.
- Upload someone else's personal information that you have no right to hold.
- Try to get into another business's data, or into parts of the app that are not yours.
- Hammer the service — scripts, scrapers, bulk automated requests — or do anything that makes it slower for the people it was built for.
- Resell Kipsy or pass it off as your own product.
The demo accounts
The demos are shared by everybody trying Kipsy, and everything in them is wiped and rebuilt every twenty-four hours. Put nothing real in them — anything you type can be seen by the next person through the door, and will be gone by tomorrow either way. They are there to be explored, not used.
What we promise, and what we cannot
We will look after your data properly: backed up every night, kept in India, never sold. We will tell you before we change anything important, and we will fix what we break.
What we cannot promise is that Kipsy will never be down. It is a young product run by a small team, and there will be days when something is broken or slow. If the app being unavailable for an afternoon would cost you an order, keep a note on paper too — that is honest advice, not a disclaimer.
Beyond that, and as far as Indian law permits: Kipsy is provided as it is, and we are not liable for business losses, lost profit or lost data arising out of using it. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot legally be limited.
Leaving
You can stop whenever you like. Ask us to delete your account and it goes, along with everything in it, and we will not make it difficult. Ask for a copy of your data first and you will get one.
We can close an account too, but only for a real reason — using Kipsy to break the law, attacking the service, or trying to reach another business's data. Except where something is being actively abused, you get notice and a chance to take your data with you.
Changes to these terms
When these change, the date at the top changes and, if the change actually affects you, we email you. Carrying on using Kipsy after that means you are happy with the new version.
The legal bit
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Chandigarh will settle anything that cannot be settled by talking. Please try talking first — support@tradingbaniya.com reaches a person, not a queue.
